One feature that I like about Microsoft's live image search is the pagination or lack of it.
No more scrolling down to the end of the page and hitting next buttons.
All you need to do to see more results is scroll down. As long as there is an image that matches the search term you keep getting results. All on the same page. Looks uber cool.

Perhaps you forgot that your little mouse has a cute wheel. & you can easily move with your little finger :D
Yes, I did forget that :) But you can still click on the down arrow on the vertical scroll bar.
Try 'Aishwarya Rai' in the search box and I assure u wont be disappointed!
I dont like the interface, when I see an image, I want to know its resolution too(I dont want to hover on it) and I always like the philosophy of giving only what the user asked for without exaggerated and excessively heavy interfaces
